Easy check in, pleasant staff. Room we had was big enough for our overnight stay... it was very clean and comfortable though.

Located in Bristol's Clifton neighbourhood, Rodney Hotel is in the historical district and near a train station. Clifton Suspension Bridge is a notable landmark, and travellers looking to shop may want to visit St Nicholas Market and Cabot Circus Shopping Centre. Check out an event or a game at Ashton Gate Stadium, and consider making time for Bristol Zoo, a top attraction not to be missed.

Lovely little hotel, and very close to the appointment I had in Clifton. Super-friendly and welcoming reception ladies both at arrival and departure, and also friendly service at breakfast. Single room at special rate, right under the roof - only marginally bigger than the single bed itself, and furniture somewhat worn and marked by use, but very clean with tiny en suite bathroom, and coffee/ tea / biscuits / fruit on offer for free. Mini bar and TV, too. How they fitted all facilities into the tiny space is genius! Heating regulator had fallen off so couldn't regulate my own heating and ended up feeling too hot in the night. Breakfast 'buffet' a bit disappointing and had to pay extra for it. Might go to one of the many coffee shops in the area next time. But all in all I felt very welcome, it was clean, and really close to where I needed to go, so it did the trick at a special rate and I would visit again.
