5/5 - Excellent
Bergen is a lovely city, though it did rain 5 of the 6 days I was there, possibly due to the time of year. It is an expensive place, but I was there for a family wedding, so I would have gone regardless.

Great hotel, lovely and clean. Breakfast was a great selection of food catered to all needs and plenty to go around. Hotel was central to the city but a little tucked away so it was calm and quiet. Will definitely consider staying again the next time we are there.

Excellent location, close to most tourist attractions, lot of restaurants walking distance… etc… can get noisy during weekends but overall very recommended

Use the very inexpensive light rail pass which allows train ride from the airport to downtown, and can be used on local buses. Each pass is "valid" for 1 1/2 hours, and if you have transfers to another route, user can get almost 3 hours travel.
Beautiful setting. Enjoyed the Kode galleries. Tourist Information staff very helpful.
Nice, quiet small town. Things are expensive especially the king crab.
Bring rain gear (umbrella, etc) - rains 265 days/yr.
Beautiful, historic city in a lovely setting.
