We loved this unique boutique hotel which has been decorated & designed with care & passion. Local transport was brilliant & Southsea is a hidden blossoming gem which we’ll be back to see next year! We will of course be checking back in to the Clarence or one of its sisters. Staff were excellent, room was comfortable but needed some tlc...cracked vanity mirror/mould marks on shower room ceiling/shower head needs limescale cleaning/one set of guest towels not put out. Breakfast was excellent quality, dinner was also good quality, at "top end pub" prices. Very small bar, bottled beers only. Definitely worth paying for reserved parking spaces as local streets are very narrow and very busy. Good location for both Southsea town and seafront. Overall, a positive experience and would definitely consider again!
