Everything about our experience was a perfect 10 out of 10. But what stood out time after time was every single interaction with any and all staff members. They are professional, friendly, and make you feel like the most important person on the planet. Every single time. I’ve stayed in beautiful hotels all over the world and this one is the best of the best.

The beach view was very nice but during the entire time we were there people had to stay out of the water due to large amounts of seawood in the water and piled along the shore. The resort did nothing to try to clean up the beach.We drove up to Captiva and the water and beach were pristine.
The girl at the front desk was totally uninterested when we checked in. Didn't explain anything about the resort. There was no information in the room about the restaurant, pool hours, how to call the front, etc.
We had a mediocre dinner at the pool bar. Food was so so but service was terrible. Better places to eat on the island.
The air conditioner stopped cooling during our last night there. When we checked out I told the front desk about it and she said I'm sorry. I asked for some credit on my bill. After talking to the manager they decided to give me a credit for our 2 bar drink charge. I suggested they credit the dinner charge instead and finally agreed on that.
Beware that when you book it says they have beach loungers and umbrellas. It looks like they are complimentary and the cabanas have a charge. They want $40 a day for 2 loungers and an umbrella. Lucky we brought our own.
Not sure we would stay here again.
