My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon looking for something more remote but still upscale and romantic. Our experience was good, the highlight was the helpfullness of the staff, who greeted us warmly and left us a small welcome gift as a token on our honeymoon. Both the best and worst part of this hotel is its proximity to world famous Playa de Sotavento. On the one hand it creates for some spectacular views and experiences; the view of the ocean from the infinity pool is one of the most remarkable I have ever experienced, and within a 3 minute walk you can rent kite/wind surfing gear and in another 2 minutes you can be in the ocean. On the other hand, the lagoon breeds all kinds of gnats and mosquitoes, so our enjoyment of the room & amenities was limited to when it was windy enough to ward off the bugs. The room, although clean and romantic, smelled a bit musty, due to maybe drainage or ventilation issues. The breakfast buffet was tasty and comprehensive, and although we did not try the restraunts for lunch or dinner, we can say it's a short 5-10min drive from some very good restaurants in town. The drinks and service at the pool were lacking, the QR codes at our table didn't work, the bartenders were unsure if they had the ingredients required for our order, and the ultimate quality of the drinks was significantly below what we expected. Overall we had a positive experience, even if it was a big more rugged than exptected. A 3.75 star hotel with 5 star views.
