Our room was disappointing. We have stayed with RIU on 4 other occasions and the standards at this one did not meet our expectations and were not as nice. Our room got no sunlight. It looked over a back alleyway. Towels in the room were very old and threadbare. The size of the room and the bathroom was half the size of any RIU we have ever stayed in. While the food was good with a lot of variety the restaurants were quite chaotic at times. Wait staff would seat people at tables on some occasions and at other times it was a free for all. The restaurant capacity was not enough for the amount of people waiting to eat and we were required to line up outside the restaurant. While our time at this hotel was okay the standard of RIU wasn't evident and it did not meet our expectations of this chain. This may mean we don't book with RIU in the future.

Lots of space with separate bedroom and lounge area .Also a large terrace balcony.Staff were pleasant. But …..the whole building is cold ….there is no heating at all ,only in the shop.Staying in December was a mistake as this hotel has used a lot of glass in the construction and has marble floors .Heating in the room was just adequate but I had to buy a thick jumper and slippers. The dining room was cold and cold plates for the hot food !!! It’s a long way from anywhere….lots of walking ,taxis and buses.Also it is next to a train track so quite noisy. This hotel really shouldn’t be open in the winter, indeed the Holiday World hotel next door was closed.

The restaurant staff, especially Alberto, were very good. They used to make veggie food twice a day for us. The only problem was that there was a very limited choice. T The restaurant opening times are late. You are not allowed free drinks in the sister hotels even though you have gone all inclusive. The reception staff were also very helpful. Evening entertainment also starts very late at 10pm. Due to this, the audiences were limited.

Had a wonderful stay! The staff were excellent, with special mention for Libby, Daniela, Fran and Juan-Jose. The hotel is spotlessly clean, comfortable and ideally situated close to local restaurants, bars and the beach. That said we enjoyed the hotel’s bars and dining facilities too. The quality of the fresh food was good and seemed to cover all dietary choices. The Saloon Bar did feel like a crèche in the evening with children racing around despite the child related activities (ages 3 - 6) ending at 2100\. Fortunately the SkyBar tended to be more adult orientated. Very enjoyable stay, thank you!
