Africa Spa Vacations

We highly enjoyed our stay at Riad Andallaspa. The building was beautiful, it had several different sitting areas and a spa we unfortunately didn’t have the opportunity to visit but heard from other guests it was great. Abdullah, the daytime concierge, spoke perfect English and was extremely helpful in navigating the city and helping us with bookings. He booked a camel ride in the Sahara trip for us and arranged everything including the driver, Riad stays and much more. Houcin, our driver on the Sahara excursion, was everything we didn’t know we needed for the trip. He seemed to know everyone everywhere, the best spots to stop and eat, the best scenic view points and all the best history and culturally significant spots along the way. This tour turned out to be so much more than a camel ride. His driving skills were incredible as was his ability to drive that many hours and keep a smile on his face the whole time.

The hotel is beautiful with a lovely peaceful atmosphere. This was our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first. The staff are excellent and the food is delicious. The spa treatments are also very good. Great to be able to pop into the Medina using the free shuttle too. Thanks for another lovely stay!

Overall we were quite disappointed in this hotel. It carries the "Savoy" name but is considerably rough around the edges. One of the four hotel buildings is actually an incomplete building site. The finishings in the rooms are of a quite sub-standard (poor tile grouting, marble still have writing on it from installation, our balcony door would not lock). The hotel also charges too much for some services, given their quality. For example, the evening buffet cost around £25 per head but the food was overall fairly poor. We only ate there as our flight arrived late. Another example is that the hotel charges £20 per person for 1 hour of hot tub use, even if you have purchased spa treatments. Every other spa I have ever been to would include this for free if you had booked treatments. Cocktails are also exorbitant prices. The staff were generally very helpful, but no more so than a normal hotel.

The hotel is spotless, the staff are polite and proactive, and the spa is very relaxing.

Kenzie was an absolute dream. We had a long journey and my son was not feeling well when we arrived. The manager at Kenzie treated us like family. He offered us early check in. He made sure my family and I were well take. Care of. I honestly feel like we wouldn’t have Siri Ed the trip without him. Thank you so much for your compassion and hospitality. Everything about the resort was perfect. Beautifully manicured, good food, lots of activities, beautiful pools, and wonderful staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our accommodations were stunning. We are so grateful that we chose Kenzie.

It is a fabulous hotel. We loved every minute of our stay. The staff are amazing… literally everyone! Front desk staff brilliant, restaurant amazing, bar staff amazing and cocktails fantastic. Shout out to Mohammed at the resort which we loved. Cooking school is a must. Restaurant was the best meal we had. Only let down is the roof top terrace! Terrible service there and dreadful drinks. Hotel put it right on our return to their main bar. We will definitely be back.
