We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place.

Great hotel to stay in, lovely staff , rooms and excellent food whether it be breakfast or dinner. Also a good location and parking spot included. We will definitely return.

Highly disappointed, booked a classical room as the only option left, it wasn’t classical it was aged and tired. Massive iron shaped burn on the carpet and one morning the water wasn’t working. The bar staff and waiters were really friendly and helpful, the reception staff should learn from this. The cool breakfast was superb, highly recommend that option. However the buffet selection was pathetic, coffee was poor in quality as well. The main saving grace of this property and bumps it up in star rating is the spa. It is a top spa, clean, modern, great selection of therapy rooms and plenty of seating/bed options to relax in. We also had a detox mud treatment which I would highly recommend and was good value for money. If you want a spa weekend in South Devon and not break the bank, this is ideal but lower your way expectations for the actually hotel element of the spa break

We had a fabulous time. Great communication and welcome from owners. The apartment was beautiful, the decor, the outlook from sitting room window, with all the trees and birds. Kitchen was really well equipped and lovely touch of a cake, buscuits, milk, water and soft drinks. Beautiful products in bathroom and super comfy bed. We will definitely be back in the future.
