QT is a revamped Rydges Eaglehawk. The rooms and modernised and comfortable although our bathroom was showing signs of mould in the shower (that really just needed to be cleaned properly), Dyson hairdryers in-room was a nice touch as hotel hair dryers are usually rubbish. We had a room right right next to the lifts which was VERY noisy - it sounded like the light rail was right outside the door. The underground carpark is super low (1.9\~ metres absolutely maximum) and they don’t give you any notice of this upon check-in (nor is it well sign posted as you enter). The $35 per night charge is a bit rich for Canberra (Sydney pricing) but with the roadworks around the on street options were a bit limited close by. London Cct is chaos with all the infrastructure works to put in the light rail extension & this also affects pedestrian access. We were in town to go to the theatre and what should’ve taken 15min to walk was more like 25min. Would stay again at QT as the room rate was pretty good

Our stay at East Hotel was excellent as always. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and check-in was smooth from start to finish. Parking was very convenient, especially with the on-site EV chargers. A special mention to Todd, who went above and beyond to accommodate our request even though I had mistakenly booked a different room type. Room service from Agostino’s was impressively fast, and every reception staff member we interacted with was respectful, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Check-out was also a breeze—it literally took under three minutes. I’ve stayed here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. East Hotel is definitely my go-to whenever I’m in Canberra. Highly recommended.

Pretty good hotel. Though more of a car park above hotel. Like everyone else in Canberra they seem to be obsessed with driving. I know it’s not a very walkable city but I have managed just fine getting around on foot with a little effort. The hotel has super wide hallways, but the rooms are a little narrow. Very trusting hotel so it was nice to be treated like a grown for a change. Great A/C also and the movie selection was a treat. No need to go out in Canberra a night (there’s nothing to do anyway, everyone is too boring). I would recommend it and stay there again.

The apartment had a great layout with lots of space and modern and very clean. WiFi +++ We would have appreciated a few more options for coffee/tea and milk, but that’s just a small point. Staff were helpful at checkin. Good location for the city and for eating options.
