Nice location and services

We stay here every time we visit Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and we always have a great experience. Everything is clean, the rooms are comfortable, and we always sleep well. The staff is friendly and helpful. It has become our go-to place to stay whenever we're in the area, and we will definitely continue coming back!

We've stayed here before but this time we found the property a bit frustrating. The first room we were in smelled horribly of cigarette smoke so they moved us to a different room. That room had issues with the A/C unit that I was finally able to get working after unplugging and plugging it back in. Half of the ice machines didn't work so it was like hide & seek trying to find where to get ice each day. The second room we were in was good, but there was still a smell of cigarette smoke throughout the building. I have to wonder if having smoking stations on both sides of the entrance, and one being near the HVAC units, is playing a role in this. I think having 1 smoking station would be adequate. We did the breakfast buffet one day and that wasn't worth the cost at all. The juice was warm, there weren't many options & the food was bland. I wouldn't recommend going to the buffet. It's a convenient location for what we need it for, but I'm not sure we would stay here again.

The location is near restaurants and very close to the Appleton airport. There was a short trail to get a little exercise before our day of travel right from the hotel. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very quiet. The staff very friendly and welcoming. Having a pool to swim in was a great refreshing break. Our only complaint is we would expect a hotel by Radisson to have fresh brewed coffee instead of an instant coffee machine. Very disappointing for weary travelers.
