I never had of Newcastle West before, but if you are ever in this town, this is the place to be. My wife considered the breakfast "the best Irish breakfast in Ireland," and who am I to disagree? We truly enjoyed our stay (and the breakfast) as well the friendly staff including (especially Derek the manager). We need disability-friendly accommodations, and this hotel, in this regard, was a great place to stay. The true test of any hotel, is "Would you go back?," and we would gladly come back at any time.

Great location. Staff were helpful. You will have e to Google how to use the air conditioner.

We really loved our stay at The Dean in Cork. The hotel had a fun, stylish feel and the room had several great touches. The shower was excellent, the minibar had a great selection, and we enjoyed using the vintage-style radio to connect our phone and play music. We also stopped by the rooftop for breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. The location was very convenient as well, especially since it was only about a five-minute walk to the train station the morning we left. Overall, this was one of our favorite stays and we would happily stay here again.

Clean and convenient - just the right amount of outside of downtown core / nice views from the restaurant. Not my room though haha // the east wing room was facing nothing really.

Very friendly reception from the staff and breakfast was good.

Great hotel. Room was compact but well equipped with everything you need. Don’t expect big closets and lots of room for luggage etc. This hotel is right in center of Dublin so great to walk to all of the attractions. I only rate it 4* because of the fact that parking is 100m away in a public carpark, and lugging cases to and fro was a bit of pain.

The grounds, breakfast, and staff were wonderful and the building and decor were stunning.

Our hotel was amazing. From the valet parking to the front desk to the housekeepers. Everyone was amazing and helpful. The grounds were outstanding and well kept. The pool and leisure center was a great place to visit. Breakfast was delightful. They say it gets busy between 9-10 and it is. But go earlier or set proper expectations.
