I cannot recommend this Hotel highly enough, it's much much more than your average hotel It has a very relaxed Indonesian vibe, spotlessly Clean. I can't wait to return. X

Excellent Stay with Superb Food and Views! We recently stayed at the Alicante Port Hotel and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were impressed; the foyer is absolutely stunning on arrival. The hotel staff were all very helpful throughout our stay, but a special mention must go to Stella, a young trainee girl who went out of her way to be incredibly helpful to us. Our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived, which was no problem at all as the hotel has great luggage storage facilities we could use. We opted for half board and the food was truly second to none. The choice was unbelievable. We were there for a number of nights and the main meat and fish options changed every single evening. There was an incredible selection of salads, fish, pasta, meats, and even pizzas for the kids. In the mornings, the breakfast offered everything from waffles and pancakes to fresh fruit , made to order omelettes and hot breakfast We wanted a room with a balcony and paid for an upgrade, which was absolutely worth it. Another massive highlight was the location; it is a very good, accessible location to the beach, making it so easy to get down to the sand. During the day, we spent time at the rooftop pool and bar, which was absolutely fabulous, but it becomes even more fabulous at night. It is a really nice place to go in the evening to chill with fabulous (but pricey) cocktails

It was a great experience and the roof to bar was top notch.

Overall the property was wonderful. We wished we could of adjusted the AC to make our room cooler.

Had a nice break but the hotel is very ‘tired’ and in need of some refurbishment. Rooms are a good size with comfortable beds, but pillows weren’t great. The bathrooms need upgrading - the shower was very small and the toilet flush was ‘tricky’, often needing several attempts. Floor tiles look very old and therefore appear rather dirty even though I’m sure they weren’t. Poor attention to detail too: kettle and mugs were provided but no tea bags, coffee or milk. We asked for some at reception who apologised and promised it would remedied, but nothing appeared during our 3 night stay. Good varied buffet breakfast and the dinner we had one evening was very nice. Definitely not the 5 star it currently holds.
