Cala Tarida Scuba Diving Vacations

Found all areas clean. Staff very welcoming however on leaving we were advised a courtesy room would be available as we were not leaving until 1630 hours. We did ask if this needed to be booked but advised no. When approached reception to check use of courtesy room advised not available and could use shower in lower area where toilets were. This was just a shower no hairdryer and actual changing facilities. We had to approach spa to see if we could use facilities in there. As hotel is due to close this coming weekend could not understand why a room was not available. If we had known no courtesy room available we would have planned our day differently

End of season sunshine. The hotel at this time of the year is I assume much quieter which suited us as this was our second visit. We were upgraded to Signature Level at check-in and welcomed by the same receptionist as last year with warmth. The food is more than satisfactory in the main restaurant, there really should be no problem finding something you like, the quality is also very good. The Gaucho steakhouse was excellent and we really enjoyed lunch at the food truck. Staff were friendly and attentive. All said a job well done TRS Ibiza. Oh, and hands down the best place to see the sunset - The Gravity rooftop bar!

We stayed in The Unexpected for one-night in September 2025. 
We had been in Ibiza and chose to stay at The Unexpected for the closing night of Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike. 
We stayed in an Anything Can Happen Suite and would highly recommend choosing that room. It’s stunning, luxurious and you feel like a bit of a rock star!

While the upfront price might seem expensive, once you factor in getting free show tickets and a bottle of champagne (I was expecting a cheap Cava but it was a limited edition bottle of Moet!), it’s actually reasonably good value. I’d also highly recommend the taking the breakfast - it is perhaps the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. There’s so many options, from the ice cream machine, cava, pizza, caviar, to all the usual options… amazing. The walk in price was €60 - and expensive breakfast on first look - but I’d say the quantity and quality of the food more than justify that price! Despite the proximity to the ‘club’ it’s actually very quiet in the room. You could hear the music on the balcony, but we never heard other guests or the music when we were in our room. The only downside of a high-end 5 star hotel is that the bar and extra prices are all high-end. And there will always be guests with clearly more money than you. I’d recommend staying at least one night in The Unexpected on your Ibiza trip.

Beautiful hotel, great service and the room was exceptional, as we got unexpectedly upgraded on arrival. A fabulous 5 days and would definitely return.
