Blue Ridge Scuba Diving Vacations

The staff were friendly and helpful providing information about what was in the neighborhood. They even put out a stand of umbrellas on a rainy day! The extra space and having a kitchen area was a major plus. On the negative side we found an empty water bottle laying in the closet, cellophane candy wrappers on the floor in the living room, and had to get the "engineer" up to the room to fix the TV. Bathroom is very small with no countertops to put toiletries and there is a counter outside the bathroom but no mirror to do hair, make up, etc. Furnishings were serviceable although I personally found the bedding too hard and things like the kitchen cabinets and medicine chest could use replacing in my opinion.

Easy and accessible location to my business meetings in central DC. Vouchers for the bar was a nice touch but missed having coffee facilities in my room and patchy supply of bottled water. I also didn’t understand the Amenity Charge of $34 per day. What was that for really?

Small rooms and bathrooms in rooms are definitely not private.

Great stay, clean hotel. Staff were helpful. Pool and spa were nicely maintained. Property is older and it shows but it’s a historic spot. Tour of the scandal room was fun.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff are nice and helpful when we had questions. The staff at Root &Vine when we order pizza's to take back to our room. The sercurity guards in the lobby would always say hi and ask how you are doing. The room was amazing and we enjoyed the view from our room.
