We never saw a single employee. There also was not a phone or way to contact staff if we needed help. The room was clean, but the bed was extremely hard, I was in pain for days after sleeping on it. I would not recommend.

The Stadhaus Hotel is our favourite place to stay, when in Burgdorf. Location, excellent service, fabulous food, charm and character, and fabulous rooms, make it Burgdorf’s hidden gem!

The location was absolutely breathtaking right on the lake. Everything was within walking distance great food great drinks great shopping. It was truly amazing. The staff was super helpful and friendly parking right up front or in the garage below. Highly recommend this hotel.

Wires hanging out of wall in bathroom. Could not get consistent temperature or pressure in shower we both got scalded as it would just randomly change temperature to full hot. Furniture and carpets dirty and worn. Cleaning staff placed our dirty shoes on the couch when they cleaned which is just nasty. Not worth paying $900 CAD/night for sure.
