Kungsholmen Scuba Diving Vacations

An amazing stay at a wonderful hotel just outside of Stockholm. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, the hotel was clean and welcoming. The staff were awesome and the daily breakfast and dinner buffet was fabulous! All in all a 10 out of 10:)

Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Some small changes could have made big difference, such as no on in the front to help with luggages, and they have at some stairs to get to the reception. Also There is no AC, on fan at night sometimes it got hard to breath. Other than that, i loved the design, location was great, staff was very helpful.

Fantastic staff, so helpful. Specially a young, long blonde girl. Don't know her name. But she was brilliant! Breakfast superb! It was our second time...and we will be back, for sure!

This is a really good option on a separate island but everything is within walking distance. The best thing about this hotel is the outdoor area, lovely restaurant and the seating where you can relax with a drink, it’s very calm. That said, the rooms are very small, staff are not really interested in providing any service, on occasion some were rude. One thing to note is that in the long summer evenings there are boy racers who drive fast on Skeppsholmen island, causing a lot of noise. Would return only if the rate was decent.

The view was spectacular so was the staff and the food! The amenities could’ve been a little better but we would definitely stay there again if we ever came back to Stockholm and we recommended highly

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Mälardrottningen Hotel and would gladly stay there again on a future visit to Stockholm. The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from Gamla Stan (Stockholm's Old Town), making it easy to explore one of the city's most historic and beautiful areas. While it is about a 15-minute walk from Stockholm Central Station, I found the waterfront setting to be well worth the extra distance. My room was on the smaller side, similar in size to my hotel in Tallinn, but it was spotless and serviced daily by housekeeping. The bathroom was modern and well-maintained, and the view overlooking the water was a wonderful bonus. The breakfast was the best of any hotel I stayed at during my trip, offering an excellent selection and a great way to start each day. I also appreciated the 24-hour front desk and luggage storage, which made arrival and departure much more convenient than hotels without those amenities. Overall, the Mälardrottningen Hotel offered an excellent combination of comfort, service, location, and atmosphere. While the rooms are compact, the beautiful waterfront setting, outstanding breakfast, and attentive staff made it one of the highlights of my stay in Stockholm. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable place to stay.

It’s a nice hotel with excellent location closer to everything the city has to offer. But I wouldn’t classify it as a “luxury”hotel. It’s rather basic well maintained hotel. What I didn’t like is the darkness/ dark ambiance it’s quite dark with most furniture in black colour, but this is just not my taste. Good perhaps for winter visitors.
