Great hotel for family traveling with kids. We should’ve splurged for the swim in suites. The suites was spacious for family of 4. Amenities included flip flops, swim towels. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options for kids and adults. Adult only pool is 12+ and faces the beach. The beach was spectacular, water was warm, clean and clear

Great place. Where there for 6 nights with the family. The room/house was located near ocean. Great view. Very clean. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is located at the quiet side of Phi Phi. Very nice white sand beach with few people. The hotel has also free activities such as kayakkibg and water snorkling, which is a plus. You can also use an app to communicate and book stuff. The food was great. So was the breakfast. Fitness room is good too. Room clraning as much as you need, several times a day. They also had a free buggy transport around the hotel in case of rain or if you are too tired to walk. Everything eas great. Things are a bit on the pricy side, but you get what you pay for. Definitley recommanded if you like peace and quiet and perfect sand/oceanview.

I stayed at Amata Hotel for one night, but unfortunately I did not enjoy my experience. When I arrived, I was given a notice saying that if I brought a guest to the room or had someone stay overnight, I would be charged a $500 fine. I understand hotels have rules, but the way this was communicated made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The customer service was disappointing, and I did not feel treated like a valued guest. I would not return to this hotel and I hope they improve their guest experience in the future.

I have visited this hotel about four times; my last stay was in March 2026. I was very disappointed with the room I was assigned and the service in the pool area. They removed the wooden heart-shaped prop—which I thought was a great feature for taking souvenir photos—and replaced it with chairs. As for the beach, nothing has changed since 2017. The breakfast, however, remains good.
