we had a great stay at this resort and the room was clean. The view of the Caribbean sea for AWESOME and the staff was GREAT!

We loved this resort for our honeymoon! The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding to say the least. The resort gave off a calm and relaxing vibe so if that’s your vacation goal I recommend. It’s a quiet resort so not for couples that want activity.

Our trip to Coco Bay was fantastic! We loved the room with our own private swimming pool, and the food was delicious and different for every meal. I also enjoyed all the tropical drinks they offered and would serve it on the beach! The staff were all attentive and lovely too Great place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary!

We had two rooms in the 100 block of the hotel for a 9 night all inclusive stay. Reading through the reviews and having made a decision to chose Blue Waters over Carlyle Bay, we were hoping to come away having had a relaxing time. While there are a lot of positives going for the hotel and staff, the shabby chic slightly run down room wasn’t a problem as the view over the beach was lovely, until we had a continual issue with hot water throughout our stay. Given the premium price, having to call reception every day with enough time before you wanted to shower so they could reset the boiler, let everything down. If the issue had been dealt with and monitored so we didn’t have to deal with the frustration of cold water in our rooms when we were ready for a hot shower at the end of a day on the beach, this review would have read very differently. Shame really.

1. Room: We were assigned suite 4. The window in the kids’ room had no glass, only a mosquito net. We asked to be changed to a normal room but they didn’t have any left. The staff tried to fit in a plexiglass and as the measures would not coincide with those of the window, decided to seal it with blue tape… The room decor is dated and the furniture inside and outside shows signs of wear and tear. Some rooms had mosquito nets in the balcony doors, some didn’t… The overall level of cleaning was poor and there was a significant level of built up dirt in the bathroom, rooms and kitchen. 2. Hotel: The property is small. There are only three restaurants and a beach grill that is more like a bar. Two of the restaurants (Italian and Asian) share a kitchen… The pool is small and does not have any views. The gym is compact but complete. I did not use the spa nor tennis facilities. 3. Beach: The beach is lovely and the sea has crystalline and warm waters. No seaweed. Plenty of marine life (we saw trumpet fish, turtles, rays and barracudas a few meters from the shore). The loungers are comfortable. 4. Water sports: Kayak, paddle board and pedal board were available. The paddle-boards were quite run down. The hotel also offers motor boat activities but both boats were out of service for the week. We could only wakeboard once and they only have a male wake size 46… 5. Staff: Perhaps the greatest asset the hotel has!!! Friendly, attentive, willing to go out of their way.

Rooms were clean and fully stocked. Staff was friendly and helpful. Amenities were great. Lots to do, lots of great food and great views.
