The hotel room is very clean and comfortable, staffs are friendly, stayed 3 nights, really enjoyed the stay.

The location of the hotel was excellent. So many of the city’s top highlights were well within walking distance. It was only a quick two-block stroll to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, and just a couple of blocks uphill to the Citadel. We enjoyed eating at the Cannery on-site, which served good food throughout our stay. The pool was a total hit, and our daughter loved spending time in it. Overall, it made for a fantastic, comfortable base for exploring Halifax!

One day of our 3 night stay, they didn’t make up our room. We called about it, and were given several excuses as to why it wasn’t done. She should have just said, “we’re sorry we’ll send someone right up,”and we would have been fine. Did not need the excuses, they only made us mad. The room was cleaned promptly however. Other than that hiccup, it was a fabulous stay. Loved everything about this hotel!

Front desk staff was helpful but lacking in energy or focus. Details not explained, process not reviewed, also given conflicting information several times. Service was certainly not on par with the price. Room was nice, restaurant was ok

2 stars — mainly for the helpful staff. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. There is no convenient space in front of the hotel to stop and park for check-in, which makes arrival difficult. The entrance to the underground parking is also awkwardly positioned on the left rather than the right, making it easy to miss. The beds were very uncomfortable and definitely need improvement. The bathroom sink appeared to be poorly renovated—the design makes it difficult to wash your hands properly, and water runs over the countertop and onto the floor. The clothing iron was also in poor condition and leaked water all over our clothes. Overall, I expected a much better experience. In my opinion, many 3-star hotels provide a better overall stay than Hotel Atlantica. The staff were helpful and friendly, but unfortunately that wasn't enough to make up for the other issues.

Excellent client service from staff. Would recommend changing carpet in our room. A little musty.
