Great location, close to downtown and we felt safe walking at night. Breakfast was outstanding and rooms were quite pleasant. Our bathroom was small, but we understood there were other rooms with much larger bathrooms.

What a beautiful place to stay in Charlottetown! Lovely historic inn on a quiet street but within a short walking distance to shops, restaurants and the waterfront. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend the Fairholm Boutique Inn.

I stayed for a few days in wintry January. The room (facing Pownal, 3rd floor) was a clean and cozy refuge from the weather. There was a thermostat I could adjust when it was especially cold and windy outside. The staff were all lovely and every morning I enjoyed complementary coffee available downstairs. There are single-use cups available, however, I brought my own thermos which I took to my room and sat back to enjoy the beautiful morning sky from the window. I highly recommend going to Receiver Cafe located near the Inn - they have amazing baked goods (croissants; cookies; homemade pop tarts, etc), and Ada on Kent St. where I had a delicious sandwich and their famous donut. Their food items are “grab n’ go” so I popped over to the Charlottetown library nearby and ate my sandwich in the lounge by the cafe kiosk inside by the entrance. Great amenities nearby (post office; Shopper’s Drug Mart, etc) and the Confederation Art Gallery and Museum is great too! Would definitely stay at Dundee Arms again.

The rooms are nice, as are the staff. But we were unable to access our room and it was nearly -20 C outside! We had if resolved in about 15 minutes, but it was very cold! Would have been 5 stars otherwise! Great value for the room size (a suite) and the location.

The room was great and staff were great too. My complaint is that the fire alarm went off in the evening and we ezited the building. It was shut off and we went back in. Then shortly after 6:00 am it went off again. Then when I went to breakfast the menu was.limited because of an electrical issue. Thi gs happen. It didn't ruin my stay.
