The rooms were clean and spacious, amenities were useful, the bathroom was well equipped. The staff at the reception were professional, polite, and helpful but they lack a smile. Restaurant: the breakfast was fair but unfortunately the dinner had extremely limited choices, no appetisers , no salad, no soups and no bread , same goes for drinks , and the staff were a bit aggressive. Parking was good, all in all it was a pleasant stay.

This a nice hotel in a great location. I’m glad I got to stay here. My room was modem, large, and clean. I appreciated the helpful staff and how housekeeping brings you chocolate in the evening! The breakfast area was well presented with a large selection of foods. In the evening I wanted to eat in the restaurant because it was late. There was no one there eating or any staff around. So I asked reception and they checked and said they were still serving. So I went back and still no one to greet me. I went to the other reception area and the person there recommended a good restaurant that was open late and not far away. So that was helpful and I appreciated that. I did feel like I wasn’t given much information when I checked in. Like the fact that I had to go to the other side of the hotel to access the gym and spa. ( there are two separate wings and reception areas) I also wasn’t told that there are limited hours for the gym and pool. The gym and spa area were great. It was the nicest, biggest hotel gym I had ever used. I really appreciated that amenity. I had a great 25 minute massage in the spa. I was unable to use the pool or jacuzzi because they close very early and I didn’t realize that. I went up there and it was not very inviting. It’s more of a bar area. Not many sun loungers . The staff did not seem friendly or welcoming. So that was unfortunate and took away from my stay a little bit. Overall it was a nice stay, but I did expect a little more from a 5 star hotel.

Very well presented property within an easy walk of the main restaurant strip and the old town. Extensive resort style amenities and very helpful staff. Makarska was a surprisingly delightful town, full of life but without the hustle and bustle of other locations. Highly recommended.

Toiletries need to get a little upgrade. Room is little small. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very quiet with gorgeous views.

The location is great with a view across the bay to the old town which is about 10 mins walk away. The pool is smallish and circular and doesn’t have a view but there are places to swim in the sea with great views right by the hotel. The staff are excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful. We booked a standard room and the details said it had a park view. In fact it had a view of the service road and maintenance building. The room itself was quiet and fairly compact but it was very contemporary and comfortable and had very good amenities including a kettle which was a bonus.

Loved this property. Amazing value for money. Loads of activities and the food was incredible!

L’appartement #303 est très bien situé, à quelques minutes à peine de la place centralede Split. Très propre, calme et bien équipé. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux , et servi par un personnel très courtois. Lors de notre arrivée, le responsable à l’accueil nous a aidés en répondant à plusieurs de nos questions. Recommandons fortement !
