Southeast Jacksonville Pet-friendly Vacations

Staff was nice but no one mans the front desk from 10 pm - 8:30am. The hallway to our room smelled heavily of smoke both when we arrived and left. The key card worked fine but we couldn't open the door without body checking it due to the strike plate not being attached to the door jam properly. The lamp between the beds did not have a lamp shade which would have been a problem if the lamp worked. There were also wires hanging out of the bottom of the ac unit. The room looked clean (don't look under the beds) and pest free. The bathroom was also clean but did have pet damage on the door from a previous guest. The "gym" had 3 pieces of simple equipment. The laundry was out-of-order. The building is old and shows its age. There was no wifi available. If there was we were not given any sign in info. During check-in, we had to pay a $100 deposit in addition to the room cost. Which we were not made aware of before checking in. We were told we will get back after check-out.

Joseph a gentleman that was working the breakfast area and bussing was an absolute delight while he worked.

The staff were wonderful and the facility very good. Location was, for us, just right.
