Mystic - New London Pet-friendly Vacations

Great breakfast!

There was no balcony on my room. Breakfast was literally coffee, milk, orange juice, cereal, oatmeal, bagle or english muffin. Only a tub of shared butter for the bread. Room needed a lot fixed. Didn't look like floor in bathroom was cleaned before we got there. Tub didn't drain. Water for shower was cold. Just very deceiving with the pictures shown online. Felt very run down

Difficult to rate the property since it’s undergoing significant renovation. The updated areas are very nice and clean. We were in a renovated suite, which was quite large and comfortable from a size perspective. However, there were some shortcomings. The a/c was not hooked up in the main bedroom so we roasted. The kitchen sink only had hot water (dangerous with little kids), no cold. The doors to the bathrooms didn’t shut. These are items I’d expect would have been checked before renting the room. When I mentioned this to the front desk, the man shrugged - he really didn’t care. No apology, no “can I offer you something”, simply apathetic. I asked if there was an ice maker anywhere on the property and was informed there wasn’t. Breakfast was quite good. Location is great for many of the Mystic attractions. Would consider staying here again once the remodeling is complete.
