Lappei Pet-friendly Vacations

Loved the pool. The villa was really clean and bright. You do need to check into the actual hotel (which this is not, this is the villas), which is like 5-10 mins away by car, and I'll say this now that the hotel does have a restaurant. It was nice that when requested, they quickly delivered an iron and ironing board since it wasn't already inside our villa. The whole property was really clean and well maintained. The view from our villa was nice. The villa does have a steam shower which was nice. It had two bathrooms, one with the bedroom and one downstairs. It had its own dedicated parking spot for our rental car, dishware for cooking, a washer (no dryer), microwave, and a nice refrigerator/freezer. Couple of minor gripes and preferences were that the furniture was really basic and hard plastic so the seating was not comfortable. The wifi was pretty fast (broadband) but extremely high latency (ping) (700+ ms) for those who care about things like that. One of the gripes we had was that there is allegedly "room service" as they leave you food/drink/wine menus in your room and the phone has a room service button, yet if you want to order food, they will make it in their restaurant located at their hotel as previously mentioned and they do not deliver it... so it makes it pointless room service. Overall it was a nice villa, it was pretty quiet, and not too far away from old town Chania (10-15mins).

Beautiful luxury resort in exclusive Elounda Bay area. My family and I enjoyed the 5-star service and quiet serene location. Our private family villa was pristine, with private pool and amazing views. The resort pools were beautiful as well. Breakfast and on-site dining options were very good. The only room for improvement would be the hotel beach and club. The stone beach and service were truly excellent, but getting sunbeds was a bit of a challenge since the beach club is also open to the public.

Beautiful Hotel in a Great Location, But Some Details Let It Down We recently stayed at Castello Boutique Suites in Sissi, Crete to celebrate our anniversary, and overall, we had a very good holiday. The hotel made a wonderful gesture by upgrading us to a larger suite with a private side pool, which felt so special and really set the tone for our stay. The suite itself was stylish and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent every morning, and the staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The location couldn’t be better — just a 2-minute walk from the charming port of Sissi, with plenty of tavernas and shops nearby. That said, as this is marketed as a five-star hotel, we were a little disappointed by some details. Positives: – Thoughtful anniversary upgrade to a suite with private pool. – Beautiful, modern, and spacious room. – Fantastic location (2 minutes from Sissi port). – Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and quality. – Friendly, professional, and welcoming staff. – Relaxed, peaceful atmosphere throughout. Negatives: – Private pool jets and lights didn’t work; nothing was fixed during our stay. – Pool needed topping up and sides had algae. – No towel hooks in the bathroom; “do not disturb” system broken. – Daily housekeeping, but balcony wasn’t cleaned in 8 nights. – Cups and glasses not refreshed — had to wash them ourselves. No blinds/curtains: poolside window let in sun at 5am, back window was lit at night, affecting sleep and

Amazing stay. Very tranquil property and extremely clean and well kept. Katerina was their absolute best waitress. If you did get anyone but her service was honestly subpar. And if you’re staying multiple days the menu can honestly become mundane. But there are restaurants just a quick 5 minute walk away. If you are looking to visit the beach more than the pool this isn’t the area to stay. The beaches are VERY rocky. Huge rocks.

Fantastic in every way! Property was very clean. Breakfast was perfect, staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved walking to town to shop and for restaurants. I would love to stay again!

Excellent stay! It is a small, very quiet and really peaceful hotel.We had a one bedroom cave suite with private pool and a view to die for. The room was very big, sofa and bed very comfortable. Kitchenette equipment is excellent. Fridge was very big. We also had the keys to the gates next to the pool so we had direct access to the beach without going round. Both ladies at the front desk were brilliant- genuine smiles, kindness and very helpful- they represent Volta very well- so was the kitchen staff, cleaning staff and the gardener. The flowers and herbs at the property are so lovely. The rooftop restaurant is great. Just a wonderful stay- everything worked and was better then expected. We were given welcome gifts in the room and! at the checkout we were given very I mean very generous "goodbye" gifts. Wow! Thank you very much to the whole team and the owners for showing how great hospitality should work.

Great place to start your trip. Very relaxing, great food, 15 minutes from Heraklion. Very well thought out resort.

We were so happy we stayed at this charming and sophisticated boutique hotel. It is a little gem in the heart of the historic area. Our room had wonderful views of the water and it was easy to walk to restaurants and shops. The staff was amazing, starting with the owner who personally walked around greeting guests. The hotel has a great feel to it. We definitely recommend it, staying there was memorable experience.

Hotel was lovely, staff were really friendly and very helpful nothing was too much trouble. Check in was seamless with a welcome drink and hot towels upon arrival. Rooms were spotless and a nice size many with a sea view. The sun beds were very comfortable and plenty for everyone even though some people still felt the need to reserve first thing in the morning. A big shout out to Aphrodite in the restaurant in the evenings she was so friendly and went out of her way to assist with menu and gluten free options. All in all a lovely stay and would recommend to stay here for a lovely relaxing break.

Great place to start your trip. Very relaxing, great food, 15 minutes from Heraklion. Very well thought out resort.
