Th staff was lovely! The room was beautiful! Everything was top tier, OTHER than the bed..too small and hard as a rock. The pillows were lumpy and not nice either…it was such a disappointment, because everything else was perfect! Hopefully that was just our bed and the rest of the hotel has better beds!

THERE NEEDS TO BE BOOKING OPTIONS FOR ROOMS/SUITES IN THE NEW VS. OLD BUILDINGS. We booked a Double Room Deluxe and, as it turns out, our room was located in the original hotel building. Our bathroom was sorely in need of updating. We requested to be moved to the same class of rooms in the new building, but there was no availability at the time. We upgraded to a Junior Suite in the new building, which cost an extra $250/night and it was lovely.

This is a beautiful hotel located on top of a hill. The view on the backside is amazing. You can see part of lake Thun and the mountain range. It has a balcony on the back side overlooking the mountain and the lake. We visited in early September, but still was a bit hot. Room has a fan that helped. The staff was very helpful.
