Saint Martin Pet-friendly Vacations

The staff was great, very helpful and Friendly. The property was clean, well maintained and big. Our villa was on the hill the view was awesome. We were told, we have access to the beach. There are 4 spots we can used. The beach closes at 5. We got to one beach at 4:00. They stated they were not taking anymore guest because they were closing at 4:30. We asked why, the guy was rude and said there are other spot we can go to. We did and have a great time. The next day after our excursion, we got to the beach at 3:00pm, there was other spot we went to, they said we needed a reservation and we can’t go. We went to another spot. This beach thing was a hassle. We didn’t like the hassle at all!! That was really the only thing that was a problem but we made it due. Everyone gets a welcome drink, rum punch. It was good. We were there for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The hotel is worth going for the price and location. The French side is known for great beaches and tranquility (peaceful). There is a nude beach about 10 minute walking from this hotel. The Dutch side is known for casinos, dining and club life.

Most of all, the peace and quiet here is fantastic and very close to the beach and restaurants.

The stay at Princess was beautiful for a peaceful and quiet time. The office staff was also very attentive and made sure our stay was good. We loved that breakfast was delivered to the room. The staff was great except for when we checked out and asked for assistance with our bags because there was no elevators for that side of our room. There was an employee that they referred to as Gabriel and he was absolutely horrible when helping us with our bags and driving to the office for us to check out. He drove like a maniac and did not give us a chance to tell him our driver was in the parking lot and had an attitude when we verified with our check out attendant. He didn’t speak, just grabbed our bags and threw them in the car. We also had a minor incident with him the day before when we asked about a market to find a toothbrush because my guest forgot hers. He pointed and said it’s “over there” and then walked away. This turned our energy all the way off. HOWEVER, it is also far from everything and no options for a local market or food if you arrive at a certain time. It is walkable only if you can trek up and down a rocky hill so a taxi or car rental would be helpful. It was also hard for us to get a taxi during the day to go elsewhere but I got a contact (raymond) from my friend and he made accommodation so we can enjoy a day at the beach. But he mentioned most taxi won’t drive there. So if you want a quiet stay and do not plan to go elsewhere, then this is the space for you!
