Out Islands Pet-friendly Vacations

The rooms were clean which is a very big priority for me . Most of the staff and a not friendly. My biggest issue was the breakfast buffet at The Tides . #1 the buffet assortment is very basic #2 we waited 45min for an omelette due to the staff not being prepared , even though the restaurant was open the staff member at the omelette station was not prepared nor in a hurry to start services . For the price of a basic buffet I would at least expect better service . Not everyone was unfriendly but the majority were .

The property is certainly well located and is one of the three best located resorts on Harbor Island. However, the Pink Sands is tired and needs attention to deferred maintenance along with some wholesale capital improvements. The employees were helpful and attentive but they could use some training as to decorum and attention to details. Overall, the experience there was a disappointment because we were paying such a high price and frustrated by endless issues. Willing but shoddy service. Bad food. Beach covered with seaweed while the adjacent resorts removed seaweed. I could go on but you get the picture. We could have gone to the Coral Sands or the Dunmore and paid a little more and had a much more fulfilling experience. Clearly, the ownership of the Pink Sands needs to "bite the bullet" and make a wholesale commitment ($$$) to a better overall customer experience or it will fade off into oblivion.

A boutique hotel in a true paradise. One of the best places I've been in the world so far. Great and friendly staff, from the security guard, reception, cleaning, restaurant and beach staff. All amazing people! Two private beaches, great pool and view. Incredible restaurant, great breakfast. Everything is great in this hotel.

WiFi extremely spotty. Local Staff was very friendly.
