Nice grounds. Location was far from any town so we had to use Uber all the time. This increased our costs. Breakfast was pricey and not offered as part of the stay. Room had no microwave or refrigerator. Was ok for the money.

What an awesome hotel, everyone was friendly. No air conditiioning, but we survived well. Don't think that if you are from the states, you should rent a car. There are plenty of options for transportation vendors, the hotel will provide you the contacts. Beautiful part of the world.

If you’re traveling to the Cotswolds in the summer time it may be difficult to stay and enjoy the rooms at the Slaughters Country Inn when the sun is high because there is no AC or central air. Fans will suffice to circulate the air and you can ask for more with reception. The property was lovely, the staff was great and the ambiance was wonderful.

"Could have happily sat in the lounge/balcony and watched the river and wildlife all day! But the bonus was could walk to the pub, hunt for source of Thames and even be adventurous on an inflatable assault course on a nearby lake. Great place for all age groups. Oh and we ate brilliantly in the pubs ..."
