Broomes Island Pet-friendly Vacations

Incredibly friendly staff from the moment we walked through the door and every interaction afterwards. We were complimentary upgraded to a room that felt like an apartment. Very spacious and comfy. The location was walking distance to a Metro station as well as grocery stores. I would stay there again no matter what area of the District we would explore

The hotel is nestled into the Glover Park section of DC near Georgetown. The hotel appears to have gone through a renovation which was well done. Check in is manual, but a quick process. Our room, a King deluxe was spacious and had a small kitchen with stove, fridge and sink, so you can apparently stay long term. The corner room had a view of the Washington Monument and some very nice G-town homes next door. Bed was very comfortable and the shower excellent. Our dinner at Davino was also really good though the service was slow for a Sunday. Didn’t matter to us as we weren’t in any rush. We may be back as we will need to come back to G-town hospital in a couple of months and Glover Park is marvelously convenient at a good rate!

The front desk staff was very helpful during the check in process and changing of rooms. To no fault of theirs, we had to change rooms and I ended up in an hypoallergenic room which was perfect for me. Room was clean and had the most wonderful view. Room service was great.

Fantastic staff, luxurious property, and the best pool and hot tub I’ve used. Kingbird restaurant was excellent as well and the proximity to Foggy Bottom and the National Mall made our visit to DC efficient too.

Front desk service was excellent. Had a great time. Will definitely return.

We were just in town for one night but it was great! Very friendly staff!. Cute terrace addition to our room!

Spacious room with nice desk space and separate sitting area. Excellent breakfast The only problem was the lighting in the bathroom. The lights in front of the mirror were too dim and it was difficult to shave, put make-up on etc.

Beautiful hotel. They told us all in room supplies were free but there was only a few coffee pods there. Also, there was only 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel. At such a nice hotel I wouldn’t expect them to be chinch about supplies. We were also double charged for parking and they wouldn’t credit us for it without a receipt emailed to them, but we never received a receipt. we showed them the charge on our credit card app, but that wouldn’t suffice. Again, for such a nice hotel you would think they would just credit it.
