Sun City Pet-friendly Vacations

Great and beautiful hotel ! The entire staff was helpful and super nice. There’s also a mall less than 5min walk away. 10/10 would recommend!

The hotel experience was just amazing

Our room was really big. As big as an apartment. The ac in the bedroom was not great. Woke me up one morning at 5 am leaking water all over the place. Running like a tap. They did fix it after I reported it. Bed dovet was awful. To heavy and the stuffing was bunched up into big lumps. Got it changed but the new one was worse. Pool was not the clean. And not well maintained. They were cleaning it the day we left for the first time in a week. The maintenance is not good. Lots of things in the room needed attention.

Ellipse has a fantastic location right next to Mall of Africa, and the aparthotel itself was very nice, but poor internal communication significantly hurt the experience. Check-in was confusing since I received no prior instructions, and despite arriving after the 3:00 PM check-in time, I had to wait in the hallway while housekeeping finished up. Later, I was granted an extra hour for late checkout (12:00 PM) because I was unwell, but management failed to notify staff. Housekeeping knocked at 11:00 AM and again at 11:30 AM, completely disrupting my rest. On top of that, the 6-digit access code repeatedly malfunctioned when trying to exit the building and parking areas. It’s a great property, but management urgently needs a centralized communication system.

Under the renovation. So noisy from 7am. Room was renovated but smells with strong chemicald. Genally not deserve of the room rate
