The hotel did not have all the modern ‘bells and whistles’, what it did have was a calm, elegant quintessential and colonial charm. I would take this hotel any day of the week over the modern mega hotels in the surrounding area. A perfect location for a gentle stroll into the town with its many bars and bistro. To top it off, they have a bar that has 2 full size snooker tables in great condition (cues and chalk aplenty). Staff are polite and unobtrusive. If you like peace and quiet this hotel is for you. The 2 pools are great and sizeable and can be used all year round. The breakfast included was very good with a wide selection of cooked and continental with great coffee.

One word that sums up Reids is ‘Classy’. From check in to check out the attention to detail is impressive. The facilities are top notch - we enjoyed the tennis courts and the salt water pool. The breakfast was delicious - and the daily ‘special’ adds to the experience. The room was very clean and comfortable too - what a view! Overall very very ‘Classy’. Loved it.

The location is excellent. Rooms are clean but furnishings are old and outdated. Housekeeping staff does a good job.

We could here our noisy neighbors . Woke us up around 11h30 pm. So the walls are not isolated. Also the outdoor chairs on the picture look nice but are full of mold. But the chairs and table on the terrace were nice. Quite spaciouse appartement and great that it was on 2 floors. The appartement is very confortable. Everything you need is there. Overall for the price, it was nice. The establishment is not responsible for the noisy neighbors.
