(138 reviews) Services of front desk staff are excellent and commendable. They are not only courteous, responsive but also very helpful. For some reasons, we need a room closer to the lift and the staff kindly arranged the room for me. As it was too early for check in, I left my luggage there and surprisingly the staff already helped me placing the luggage in room for our check in and it was only 1pm. As we departed the hotel, we asked for their help to call a taxi. The lady at front desk guided us (and carrying our luggage) to the street to call a taxi. It was patchy rain at that time. Overall, the GATE hotel excels from the room and amenities to services. We will stay at this hotel again in our next visit. (25 reviews) This place was one of my preferred place that we stayed in. It’s a bit of a walk from Hakata station, but the amount of space you get is a great trade off . The place was pretty clean and safe and big for 4 adults and a child to stay comfortably . We only had an issue with the check in process . The system used wasn’t working properly.
