(1,006 reviews) The staff was wonderful and very sweet to my dog. The room was a bit smaller than I expected and the views were not like I saw in photos of Petco Park. The only TV channel options were news and sports, which was a real challenge since I had my pup and wasn't going out. I hoped to watch a movie or two. Overall, and this is not a knock on the hotel at all, but the location was sketchy. Esp needing to walk a little dog, there were homeless people everywhere, the streets were filthy, and there wasn't a blade of grass anywhere to be found. It's quite disappointing b/c the gaslamp area used to be so much nicer but it did not feel safe and in fact I was basically told to only stay 3 blocks in each direction.
