We had a good time at Hotel VIC! It was clean and the staff was very nice. Our only complaints are that checking in and out was difficult after booking through Expedia (we weren’t given the reservation numbers which were needed to check in / out on their automated system, and there wasn’t anyone staffing it when we needed to check out), and that the mirror / low lighting situation in the rooms make it difficult to apply makeup. Overall a good experience though!

First member of staff who checked us in was pretty bad to be honest. They came across as if they really didn’t want to be there. I compared their attitude to the other staff and it was miles apart. Other staff where lovely and very good. Never found the swimming pool or spa area which was a shame as I wanted to use it
