The hotel itself needs some updating, our room had chipped paint and a faint smell of wet dog, the cleaners definitely did their best it's probably the carpets that need cleaning. The spa facilities were basic, the pool is a leisure centre pool, and it wasn't a relaxing experience we expected sadly, for example you take your shoes off and leave in a pile with everyone elses by the reception area like soft play, the lockers dont lock! The hotels in a good location though and staff are helpful and friendly but I wouldn't stay again.

Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Room was huge and very clean and comfortable with luxurious bathroom. Parking - despite single yellow lines you can park on the road at any time of the day. We managed to get one of the 2 spots on the driveway. Hotel is within walking distance of train station, cafes and shops.

Had an amazing overnight stay at Mar Hall for my wife’s 50th birthday. All staff couldn’t be nicer and the place was stunning.

We were upgraded to a fancy room apparently which was on the 6th floor. We expected a great view of the city however we were disappointed to find no windows in the room. Very claustrophobic. Nice comfy bed and a decent breakfast. Grossly overpriced at £210 for the night for 2 of us. Far superior hotels in the city centre area at significantly lower prices are available. Won’t visit again. That about covers it.

We booked this hotel for a concert a bit off a walk from the station but easier for what we were doing later on . The hotel was spotless staff really friendly . Had everything we needed and all the little touches were great . Would definitely book again
