The hotel offers a truly memorable stay, blending comfort with a distinct sense of character that sets it apart from standard accommodations. From the moment of arrival, the atmosphere feels warm and thoughtfully designed, with staff who are attentive without being overwhelming.

I had a truly marvelous weekend at Montage Laguna Beach. From the moment I arrived, everything was exceptional; the beautiful grounds, immaculate property, wonderful staff, and outstanding restaurants. The entire resort has a feeling of elegance and tranquility that makes it very easy to relax and enjoy every moment. One of the highlights was dinner at Studio. The meal was amazing, but what made the evening especially memorable was the setting. Sitting there at sunset with an unobstructed view of the sun going down over the Pacific was absolutely spectacular. It was one of those experiences that stays with you. The Montage is a truly special resort, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional Southern California getaway. I had a wonderful stay and very much look forward to returning.

I don't like the idea of not having any staff on site, to talk to anyone you need to go to the kiosk and request to FaceTime a rep. This complicates s lot more than you'd think. We did not end up staying bettee because the first room smelled so bad a raw sewage. All the pipe water traps had gone dry and sewer gasses had filled the room. We went to the kiosk to explain the problem, but because there are no people on site we had to wait 30-45 minutes for someone to walk to the property to check it out. She confirmed the issue and they moved us to another room, however, had not been and could not be cleaned (because therebis no on-site staff) and the air conditioner in this room was legit black from lack of service and the walls had mold on them because of this (I am an HVAC contractor, so i have experience in this matter). They did refund our money but that was a battle that took like 2 hours before they agreed and another week to get our money back. Also, you have to pay for parking which we were never told until after we checked in. And getting in and out of the parking lot is very difficult due to blind traffic.

We did have a light failure in the middle of night. Maintenance was called and they resolved the problem. The front desk also adjusted the bill to compensate for our difficulties.
