The location is outstanding! Walkable to all the main attractions. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Housekeeping came in twice a day - once to clean and make up the bed and a second time to turn down the bed -ready for a good nights rest!

If your planning on visiting the Charleston area and want a really nice resort style hotel then this is the perfect place. We visited for a week and it is in a really nice area with everything just a few miles away. It’s in Mount Pleasant not Charleston but the historic district is right across the river and you can get there by water taxi or the resort has a van that runs all day long into the night for free and it’s only a ten minute ride or just drive yourself there’s plenty of parking at reasonable prices and it’s a very walkable historic district.

Hotel Bennett is unbelievable. It had been awhile since we had stayed here and I thought things might show some wear. I was wrong. Everything was fresh and absolutely awesome. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. When you stay at a luxury hotel, you expect this kind of environment. You rarely do today but the Bennett delivers.

Great location. We went 2 weeks before Christmas and it was beautifully decorated.

This hotel was excellent in every aspect. The staff is very friendly and went above and beyond to anticipate and meet our needs. The hotel itself is brand new, beautiful, and kept immaculate. The pool is excellent, with a beautiful view of the harbor. The location is perfect, water views while being a short walk to Charleston's best restaurants and shopping. This hotel checked every box and definitely plan on going back.

Stayed one night and unfortunately had a disappointing experience, especially considering the price point. I already had a headache before arriving, and the first room had an extremely strong bleach odor that immediately made it worse. Even a staff member acknowledged how strong the smell was. I requested a room change, which the front desk accommodated, but later that evening I discovered dried blood stains on the bedding in the second room. At that point, since I was checking out early the next morning, I chose not to switch rooms again. The staff was polite, and the location is great, but cleanliness and room quality are extremely important to me, especially at over $400/night. I expected a much better experience.
