We had to pay in a public parking for two days and the breakfast was closed and so was the restaurant. The rooftop lounge was not open. They only had a little snack corner but the prices were to high

I can’t say enough about the Mayfair! It is truly such a gem! Our apartment was gorgeous! So clean, modern and spacious and in a great location! Jeannine at the front desk was incredible - so kind, helpful and very responsive! My family of four had an incredible stay!

I’ve now waited almost a week for feedback from the hotel and it comes down that no one on site really cares. From the front desk, housekeeping, to the restaurant staff. No one has contacted me at all. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I would say just beware. If you have an issue at the hotel, no one will respond. If you don’t, it might be fine. We showed up to a dirty room. It had red wine on the sheets, makeup on the windows and walls, no soap in the shower. It took 3 housekeeping trips to get it clean and they still never changed the sheets. Sheets smelled like perfume all night. I called housekeeping 3 times and called the front desk while onsite. The next day I sent three emails to ask for a manager. So far, no one at all has responded. The house keeper left the master key to the hotel on the bed as well, the one that opens all the guest rooms. This should concern someone. I understand honest mistakes. But with no one willing to assist with a legitimate customer complaint, that’s concerning as a customer. Hotel is nice and rooms are well appointed otherwise. I would expect the service to match the brand name.

I always enjoy my stay here. Close to the dome. Great amenities. Food and drinks always hit the spot. Staff is accommodating and attentive. I get great use out of the pool.

The Royal Hotel was beautiful. The rooms were on the small side but the beds were big and so comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Everything in the French Quarter is within walking distance of this hotel. Magical!
