Western Tobago Mountain Vacations

beach was excellent

I booked a room for my mom at the Bacolet Beach resort as an early Christmas gift. From the moment I saw the pictures of the room she was assigned I was terribly disappointed almost to the point of writing the hotel to assign her a different room. It looked like none of the Bay Room pictures on the expedia site in terms of decor. The rest of the facilities I was told matched previous reviews which I unfortunately read too late. The pool was murky. The beach furniture was dirty and the grounds in general seemed to be lacking maintenance. Needless to say I was sorely disappointed that a well intended gift went so awry.

Every single member of the staff was extremely helpful, polite and professional. Location is great, and the views are spectacular. Will definitely stay again

I wouldn’t call this hotel. It’s closer to a hostel. I reserved the hotel for two nights, but it was so bad. I left after one night even though I paid for two.

A new, modernly decorated hotel. Spotlessly clean. Excellent food in the restaurant (both dinner and breakfast). Friendly owners. Highly recommended.
