Beautiful hotel in a great walkable location close to bars, restaurants and a beautiful walking trail along the water. I enjoyed the reusable water bottle they provided and water stations throughout the hotel as well as the rooftop pool/bar and free sunscreen provided. Would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Austin!

Location great. Hotel is in desperate need of a total refresh. Everything is old and tired. Pool area is tiny. Not enough chairs and horrible towels. The towels in the room were actually worse. The food by the pool was quite good

Paid for breakfast to be included throughout our stay in advance with expedia but was disallowed by the front desk. No help to resolve the issue.

Many of the rooms face a very busy road, resulting in significant road noise. The hotel should have been built with soundproof windows but that is not the case.

Our stay at The Fairmont Hotel with The Gold Experience was simply AMAZING. Welcoming staff from valet to front desk and room service was Fantastic! Oh and about The Gold Experience… it made our 12yr old twin sons feel like we were celebrities! Starting off the day with an included breakfast.. We could grab snacks/beverages plus much more anytime throughout the day. And with very helpful/pleasant staff at The Gold Lounge.. one twin even quipped “Can we stay here all day and forget about exploring Austin”lol.. and they hadn’t even seen the pool!! Stepping outside onto the 7th floor rooftop was pure magnificence. 2 pools with one looking like it was half the size of a city pool. We definitely wouldn’t be packed in there like sardines like at many other hotels! 5 Star Rating? I give it 10 Stars.. it’s Highly Recommended!!

The Peacock restaurant was great for breakfast and lunch, the room and the lobby were beautifully decorated and really interesting.

This place is an absolute jewel with an amazing sense of southern hospitality! We felt valued and appreciated. We were spoiled during our stay. Thank you so much, Luey and Norris!

This is a great location for a resort right on the river with great outdoor pools and views and restaurants and bar. There is a children’s pool with a large slide and 3 levels of adult pools with a swim up bar. The hotel could use a little updating and paint. Housekeeping was a little absent.
