(633 reviews) The room was clean but decor and bath quite shabby. Staff were helpful polite and pleasant. The room was very large. There were a few points which rather spoilt it. Minor complaints were that the restaurant wasnt open for lunch at weekends or on sunday evening and that the sound on the tv wouldnt go above 30, also the shower was very antiquated and taps almost falling out of the wall. My major complaint is that the bathroom stank of sh\*t which if one didnt ALWAYS close the door permiated thebedroom. . Overall, the room felt more like a closet than a proper hotel room. Given the price we paid, we expected a much more decent accommodation. The following day, I requested a different room, which we received that evening. This room was significantly better and met our expectations. That said, I believe a discount should have been offered for the first night, which unfortunately did not happen. Overall, the hotel is very clean and modern.
