St. George Island State Park Honeymoon Vacations

From the moment we booked then arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Cathy made us feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Scotty brought the history of the B&B to life with fascinating stories behind each artifact, adding so much character and charm to our stay. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and Cathy even remembered exactly what each of us had ordered the day before, with everything prepared and waiting for us the next morning. It’s the thoughtful personal touches and warm hospitality that make this place truly unforgettable.

We have stayed here often when visiting our college kids we love the central location. This visit was NOT like previous visits. Our vehicle does not fit in their parking garage and available street parking is a walk and an inconvenience, especially with my husbands bad knee. They are under construction for a renovation process, both the gym and the pool were closed. Staff had to be asked to restock sleeves for coffee to not burn your hands with complimentary coffee every morning. We complained about a high pitch squeak coming out of our ac unit and what a bad stay we were having, keep in mind the nightly cost of our stay was not cheap and we were uncomfortable, the employee at the front desk offered extra cookies as our compensation. We are waiting to speak to upper management but we left very disappointed, this is not our regular Hilton experience.

Great location, hotel suite like new friendly staff and great price .

The room was clean and nice, and the staff was amazing and very helpful.

I was so excited to stay at a nice hotel. I even paid extra for a "corner" room. What a disappointment! To start, everything was kind of dirty. The roof top restaurant had bits of trash everywhere and lots of smokers on the terrace. The one bartender was friendly but had too many customers to keep up with. The bedroom was fine, what I would expect from a days inn. The mirrors were all cracked and chipped. The corner room has windows I feel would fit more in a prison than a nice hotel. The shower floor was covered in soap scum or something so I put the bathmat over it to take a shower. The bathroom door also didn't quite fit and left a gap. All of the furnishings were scratched up. Worst of all, the bed was terrible, it had a deep divet in the center which made it incredibly uncomfortable, I ended up sleeping sideways because it was a little more comfortable that way even with my feet hanging over the edge. Oh and it's also like $20 to park.
