Devil's Bridge Trail Honeymoon Vacations

I was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming and comfortable this motel turned out to be. It looks good on the online and the reality lives up to those expectations. The common areas are especially comfortable. The rooms are clean and largely comfortable. I picked a first floor room due to my husband's mobility issues, and it was a little dark (walls painted dark blue with black paneling) BUT we were only there for one short overnight stay, so that wasn't a major issue. The floors are done in laminate-style flooring, I believe, which is fine. I sometimes think hotels/motels with this flooring feel a little cold, but on the other hand, I hate hotel carpet, so honestly there is no "right" answer here. Their handout also recommends local restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops, which is a really nice touch--rather than leaving us to fend with Yelp ourselves. Their onsite General Store has a small but delicious menu of food you can order also, so you're not left to forage some chips out of desperation at the end of a long drive. I definitely would stay here again.

All the hotel facilities are attractively designed and very nicely furnished and decorated. Despite that, a stay in this hotel would best be enjoyed by guests who eschew human contact. In my three nights staying in Bespoke, I never saw anyone, neither any guest nor any member of staff. No one was at the front desk at the time of check in and, when I called the hotel's phone number, I got the impression that my call was an annoyance and that, rather than seeking a person to help me with check in, I should just follow the written instructions that were emailed to me. That did not make me feel welcomed. I was left with the feeling that if I had any questions or concerns during my stay, I had best just deal with them myself because hotel staff would be bothered by any questions or concerns coming from me. Guests who enjoy that sort of relationship with hotel management would have a very nice stay in this hotel.

Everything was very nice. We never met the hosts, but they did respond to messages right away. We stayed in the Americana cabin. The tub/shower was spacious, but needs grab bars to hold to get in, out, and hold onto while showering. The tub is slippery, I did find the non-slip mat rolled up behind the toilet, so there is one, just look for it. The main room was large with a King size bed, a trundle type bed, 2 chairs for watching TV, a small desk and chair for working. The bed was firm, not hard, and comfortable. The only sink was in the "kitchenette" area with the microwave, coffee makers, and fridge. It was awkward not having a sink in the bathroom, but it was ok. Everything had to be wiped up with bath linens, a roll of paper towels would have been nice.There are no paper products, so if you plan to microwave popcorn, or a meal, you'll need to bring those with you. There was also a tall bistro table and 2 stools to eat at. We would have liked a bit brighter lights, it was dim. All in all, it was really nice and we would recommend it. It's about 5 minutes from downtown Williams, dark and quiet.
