Netherlands Honeymoon Vacations

Having booked a trip with my 6 year old daughter, noting the temperature was 32 degrees, we made the decision to pay a premium price and stay in order to use the swimming pool. On the day of travel the hotel contacted us asking us to online check in, with a small note at bottom saying the pool is closed. Whilst this is I’m sure not avoidable, when we attempted to book they stated they would get back in touch in 3 hours after discussing with the reservations team. Hours then days passed, no response to my numerous calls and emails. With no option but to check in we were placed in a dated but clean room 802, next do to the creaky lift, which kept us up all night. As we boarded our ferry home 2 days after our arrival Expedia contacted us to approve a hotel change due to the facilities not being as described. Shame it wasn’t done before our trip was over. I have arranged a call back when we arrive home. Whilst we made the most of the trip it left a bitter taste, knowing we could have stayed in a neighbouring hotel for over £90 less, had we not wanted the pool. The website still states the hotel has a pool, I just wouldn’t count on it.

All the staff was very supportive and help us with anything we needed, they were also very kind. The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. Also, the wellbeing area was very calm and easy to relax. The breakfast is good, however, the scramble eggs were a bit sweet so I did not like them.

I want to thank the staff at The Delphi! They went above and beyond to help with railroad failures, ideas of where to go, and always a hello and a smile. I’m so happy I stumbled upon this hotel/townhouse rental. This will be my go to place to stay in Amsterdam. I highly recommend this to travelers because it’s a lovely area that is just a quick jump on the tram to get anywhere but yet you can easily find a great joint around the corner to eat, relax, and people watch. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality. The hotel is elegant, full of character and charm, and perfectly situated along Amsterdam’s beautiful canals, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Our room was exceptional, beautifully decorated, spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with every amenity we could have wanted. Every detail had clearly been thoughtfully considered, creating a space that was both luxurious and incredibly comfortable. What truly set the Ambassade Hotel apart was the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our stay memorable. Their recommendations for local restaurants and attractions were excellent, helping us discover some of the highlights of Amsterdam that we might otherwise have missed. Their passion for the city and commitment to exceptional service made a lasting impression. The Ambassade Hotel offers the perfect blend of charm, luxury, comfort, and personalized service. We left wishing we had booked a longer stay and would return without hesitation\. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam, you won’t be disappointed.
