From the moment we entered the Berkeley, the staff was friendly. The service was great! The room was clean and lovely. We had a great stay! We will definitely be returning.

Charming spot and the valet and front desk team were lovely. However, our room smelled musty and there was no hand soap in the bathroom requiring us to pump body wash from the shower every time we washed our hands

Since I graduated from W&M, I've always wanted to stay at this place. No doubt it has a great location. But my disappointment started as soon as I arrived. No one outside to tell me where to park or help with bags. Walked in to a long line of people trying to check in with only 1 person working. The room itself was in need of a renovation. The restaurant and bar close early. Not what I expected. I won't be back.

**The Jefferson Hotel, Richmond, VA** Opened in 1895, The Jefferson is one of those rare hotels that earns its reputation without breaking a sweat — the soaring rotunda, stained glass skylights, and marble columns make an immediate impression, and the warm, unhurried service keeps it from feeling like a museum piece. Rooms are elegant and genuinely comfortable, Lemaire is one of the better restaurants in the city, and the Rotunda Bar is a perfect excuse to linger. It's not a budget stay, but for a special occasion or simply a night of doing Richmond right, there's nothing else quite like it.

Room was super clean, the check-in co-worker was very efficient and kind, and the area and hotel in general were quiet and comfortable. Was a nice surprise to have a free hot breakfast included. We would absolutely stay here again!
