Not as advertised. Pool closed. Apartment had broken furniture, including the desk office chair, that my 5 year old sat in the night we arrived that literally fell over because multiple feet were bent.. Apartment is right next to trash room. Hallway smelled of narcotics and apartment had strong cleaning chemical smell. Cheap pack and play, no crib as advertised. Couch full of stains. Unit was dirty upon arrival. including someone elses hair in one of the showers. Oven still had old food in it that was burning when we tried to pre-heat and use. Pictures on wall slanted. Clock hand fell off when we walked in the door for the very first time. Just a bunch of extremely cheap furnishings. Brought up concerns to owner and they were not pleasant. We were never looking for money back, but rather to simply bring these items to their attention. Had we caused any of these items ourselves, we would have cleaned them or dealt with them, but to say we were disappointed in the condition of the apartment upon check in, would be understating how bad it was. Thankfully we didnt have to spend much time in the apartment, it was not worth the amount spent.

Très bel Hotel. Bien situé dans Austin. Un très bel Accueil et une équipe charmante.

Our stay at The Fairmont Hotel with The Gold Experience was simply AMAZING. Welcoming staff from valet to front desk and room service was Fantastic! Oh and about The Gold Experience… it made our 12yr old twin sons feel like we were celebrities! Starting off the day with an included breakfast.. We could grab snacks/beverages plus much more anytime throughout the day. And with very helpful/pleasant staff at The Gold Lounge.. one twin even quipped “Can we stay here all day and forget about exploring Austin”lol.. and they hadn’t even seen the pool!! Stepping outside onto the 7th floor rooftop was pure magnificence. 2 pools with one looking like it was half the size of a city pool. We definitely wouldn’t be packed in there like sardines like at many other hotels! 5 Star Rating? I give it 10 Stars.. it’s Highly Recommended!!
