It was not entirely clean, the staff don't do much. Breakfast is from the day before. Air conditioning excellent.

Lovely room in a historic building, very clean, yet modern amenities, gorgeous bathroom and heated towel rack.. only complain is the shower leaked out of the side and flooded the bathroom floor. Rooftop bar overlooking the arno was a highlight, as well as the breakfast. One of the best included hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Perfect location as well. Loved it overall and would definitely return.

Wonderful property, amazing hosts. 20 minutes outside of Florence center-easy to get a taxi. My family loved everything about our stay here!

Firstly this hotel is on a side street and not easy to find. We arrived with two young children on an intense heat wave day to check in for a confirmed, family room booked through Expedia. At check-in we were told the air conditioning in our room was broken. They made no attempt to inform us in advance of the issue or rebook us into a different room. The front desk declined to move us to another room and offered only a refund — which doesn’t help when an equivalent room for the same dates now costs roughly double, leaving us to find and pay for alternative accommodation ourselves in peak summer heat. When we asked to resolve it with the manager, Giulia, the front desk would not call her directly and said they were unable to reach her; our own later attempts to contact her also went unanswered. This was not a weekend check-in or a late night check-in that the manager is not available. She had instructed the front desk not to call her. For a 4-star hotel at this price, being unable to provide a functioning air-conditioned room, refusing to relocate us, and leaving guests with no way to reach management is a serious failure. A carefully planned family trip, badly let down by rude staff and missing manager. Whoever owns this hotel should evaluate. The hotel itself is not a 4 star either at best a 1 or 2 star. We would recommend travels AVOID this hotel.
