Lovely room and balcony, and the cleaners were excellent. However, the carpets in the corridors were stained in places. Decent breakfast - good choice and cooked options were good. But much of the food was supermarket - plain bread, tinned fruit, etc. I would expect more from a 5 star hotel. I found the menu options for lunch were very ordinary - the burgers and beef tortillas were totally bland. I also tried to order a drink using the app to the beach area, only to get a quirky soz-mate, we’re really busy in the restaurant at the moment - please try a bit later message. Unacceptable. If you like resort stays you will enjoy this place, but it’s very, VERY expensive for what it is and, in my view, falls some way short of its 5-star rating.

Beautiful vintage hotel in the middle of old town Dubrovnik. A lovely refuge from the bustle of that busy, popular town, especially when the cruise ships drop off their hordes. Room had dramatically high beamed ceilings. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff.

It was a perfect stay in every aspect..especially the team at front desk was totally top notch!
