The hotel smells bad so the staff constantly sprays this air freshener around that smells like bug spray..the towels r frayed and have holes in them..my single room was very small and so was the shower..there is a big hole by the front steps that is dangerous..8 steps to get into the hotel..the breakfast was OK.

Poor Lighting, room seemed dark. Sound proofing not so good, we could hear everything in the room above us and rooms beside us. Sound proofing would make it alot more of a comfortable stay. Overall, love the decor and the bathroom area was lovely. Do note some areas of paint that needs touching up and additional sealant on some of the tiles. Amazing location, within tram stations, and walkable to canals.

Very conveniently located but basic for a 4 star hotel.

NH Collection hotel near central train station met more than our expectations, from convenient locations, warmth staffs, delicious breakfast to our spacious and comfortable room, we had nothing much to add but deeply grateful for the staffs, like Ibrahim and Meaghan’s welcoming smile at breakfast. Our assistant dog also received a gift from Ibrahim. Christina helped us check in and out with such a wonderful warmth, big smile. We felt like we were being with a friend, not a hotel staff. Twan helped us to get more quiet room. This experience was amazing and so memorable! We definitely will book from this hotel chain again and hope to return to this hotel in Amsterdam. Thanks so much for the hospitality!

The room was beautiful. We even got an upgrade! The bed was the most comfortable of the whole trip. The air conditioner worked wonderfully the room. Service pizza was terrible but everything else was amazing

The room was to small and we didn’t like to have the basin next to the bed we prefer to have basin in the bathroom because if you use the toilet you have to go outside the bathroom to wash your hands

We only stayed for one night, but the staff went completely above and beyond for us. They held our luggage early in the morning so we could head right out and explore Amsterdam, got us checked in ahead of schedule, and even moved our bags directly into our room. The location right on the canal is gorgeous, with incredible views and easy walking access to so many great spots. We would love to come back!

I had originally booked a single room. Within 24 hours of booking I called to change the room to a double as my husband was also able to join me and we needed a bigger room. It took about 10 days for them to give us an answer as the manager was only on property from 9am and sometimes left around 2 or 3 pm local time and only on weekdays and didn’t address the situation through email either. This delay cost us about $1000 in added flight cost as the prices went up as we kept waiting to get a response. When we arrived I mentioned this upon checking in but the person shrugged it off with a simple sorry. In addition the air conditioning was very noisy and even though I complained two times nothing was done to fix it. Overall it was not a pleasant experience.
