Malpeque Fishing Vacations

The property is under renovation making the stay a bit underwhelming. Amenities are limited - construction and dirt tracks are all over. The renovation is behind schedule. So it’s an amazing golf location- but definitely not operating at a level that reflects the nightly stay- maybe once it’s up and fully operational again. Also their tiny beach is a serious letdown for PEI.

Loved our room, it was very clean, AC working and balcony overlooked gardens. Good location within walking distance to the downtown core. The breakfast was made to order and it was excellent. Overall very satisfied with our stay.

Front desk staff were unfriendly. Breakfast just ok. Fridge broken and leaked water over kitchen floor. Toilet barely flushed, and then plugged. The sitting area in the room is lovely but the ensuite bathroom is not a 5-star bathroom. It's dated and the towel hanger on the wall is coming loose. The ensuite closet is also dated. These things wouldn't be as bad if the hotel wasn't advertised as 5 star. The best quality is the maintenance fellow who came to fix the fridge and toilet is a lovely, friendly welcoming person!

Excellent cottage! Very clean.

If you’re charged for anything extra, you will not know until you go home and happen to check the credit card. It won’t be mentioned at check out at all. If you need to talk to management, they will simply ignore your message and will not respond at all.
